Gordon Ramsay Restaurants Preparing To Launch Franchises in the USA

Gordon Ramsay Restaurants has announced a major step in its global growth strategy by completing its Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) in compliance with US Federal Trade Commission (FTC) regulations.

This milestone enables the business to actively seek franchise partners to expand two of its popular casual dining brands, Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips and Gordon Ramsay Street Pizza, across the United States.

The group, which currently operates 94 owned and licensed restaurants worldwide, is making the US a key focus for its franchising efforts.

With a strong franchising culture and vast market potential, the US is poised to play a central role in the company’s expansion plan.

Traditionally, the group has relied on owned or licensed restaurants, such as its prominent partnership with Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. However, franchising now represents an exciting new chapter for the business.

That said, the company plans to launch its US franchising efforts immediately, targeting major metropolitan areas.

Specifically, within the next five years, Gordon Ramsay Restaurants aims to sign at least 12 new franchise agreements in the US.

To achieve this, they are collaborating with franchise development consultants, Catesby, to identify and engage with potential franchise partners.
