Admit it; whenever you bring the gang up to the nearest frozen yogurt franchise, you find yourself wondering what it would be like to own one or two of them. Right?
C’mon…can’t you picture yourself spending an hour or two at your hot franchise location setting things up for the day, and then leaving when your college-age employees start showing up at around 1 or 2 in the afternoon?
And, doesn’t that picture, (that you have in your head) include lots of free time between the time you get things going and when you come back later in the evening to check things out and grab the days $$$ take?
Golf
Maybe that’s what you see yourself doing with all of that free time you’ll have after you get your frozen yogurt franchise ready every morning. You know where I’m about to go here, right?
While it’s great to fantasize about what being the owner of a multi-unit franchise would be like, it’s crucial that you find out just how fast you’ll be able to come and go as you please, so you can play golf. (Or whatever it is that you want to do in your free time.)
I’m not suggesting that your role as the owner of a frozen yogurt franchise or three wouldn’t live up to whatever franchise fantasy you have come up with. You may be able to play 18 holes every day. You may be able to leave your store manager the keys, and go on a 35-day Greek cruise, with nary a worry. I don’t know. That’s for you to find out.
The summer months bring on lots of fantasies. Maybe watching Paris Hilton slurp down a melon-flavored scoop of your brand of frozen yogurt is a fantasy of yours. And ladies, if your dreams fantasies involve watching this football player drip cherry-flavored frozen yogurt (that was purchased at your store) all over himself on a hot day, that’s okay, too.
