Group #1- The Parents
Group #2- The Franchise developers
In a perfect business world, if there is a need, and one can fill that need, that could be the business that one would want to involve themselves with, as an owner. Seems logical to me. And others, obviously.
In a recent article in The Akron Beacon Journal, a candidate of mine, who was a recent casualty of
" too many hours working for a corporation" decided that he wanted some more quality time with his family, and less travel time with The OfficeMax Corporation. Mike Whelan’s journey towards small business/franchise ownership, led him to me, and I was able to lead him to an educational franchise. One in which Mike would oversee the operation, network in the community with educators, and have a director run the day to day activities. Hence, more quality time at home.
Quality time at home, these days, could mean helping your children with their schoolwork. All of us are not equipped to teach, so learning-tutoring centers fill that niche, and quite well, according to this month’s Franchise Times Magazine.
