The recent purchase of AllBusiness.com, a wildly popular business focused website, for $55 million by Dun & Bradstreet, was done to enhance D&B’s internet presence. It has, thanx in some part to it’s industry savvy blogging team….
This team of industry specific experts has probably helped increase AllBusiness.com‘s web rankings. {In January of this year, AllBusiness.com exceeded the 3 million visitor a month milestone.} WOW
That figure clearly puts the AllBusiness.com website property near the top of the heap, in business related websites.
It is my pleasure to announce that I am now running the AllBusiness.com Franchise Blog! I will do a new article once a week, and do some cross-posting from other blogs of mine, too. I am honored to be able to get involved with the AllBusiness.com team. The audience that this website attracts is one of the most sought after ones in advertising circles. This audience includes a large following of small to medium sized Business Owners and Partners, CEO’s, COO’s, Directors, Presidents, and VP’s,- SVP’s. In addition, future entrepreneurs constantly visit AllBusiness.com for start-up advice…and that is where I come in.
I want to thank a few folks who have cheered me on, and encouraged me to keep on, keepin on.
They are:

Jim is considered one of the Top 25 Small Business Experts in the World, and I am humbled to be interviewed on the topic of franchising 4-5 times every year. Jim, you are the best.Thank you for your amazing support! You can write that on a rock….

George, I am so glad that we met a couple of years or so ago. Your unwavering belief in me, and what my little franchise consulting business does to bring new businesses into Northeast Ohio, is greatly appreciated. Being an infrequent guest author on BFD ain’t bad either…
Tim Ferris- TimFerris.blogspot.com
Tim, we met last year, and I shared my frustrations with you about not getting my blog, and my writing to the next level fast enough. You told me not to give up, because bigger things were around the corner for me. Thanx for your faith in me!
Jim Kukral- JimKukral.com
Ji, I heard you speak about blogging almost 2 years ago at The Powerhouse, in the Flats. You reminded me of…well…me. Sarcastic.Focused. Funny. never Give Up Attitude.
We were able to get to know each other in person a few times in the past two years, and you always challenge me. Thanx, dude. Jim Kukral. True Internet geek. And a savvy marketer! Bonding with Mark Cuban. GEEZ!

Congratulations, Joel! That is wonderful and I’m very happy for you. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
Anita
Congratulations!
Well, well. Hear, hear. Good show. It’s a pleasure knowing you and having you around. I’m just hoping that “AllBusiness” doesn’t necessarily mean “NoNonsense”, because part of the creative and building processes have to do with horsing around and keeping things light, things at which you have been known to excel, from time to time.
Best wishes. Godspeed.
May I humbly suggest celebrating this high honor with a new picture? You look just a tad psychotic there, J. Just a tad.
Unless, of course, they were scared to turn you down. In that case, stick with that pic.
S.
Congratulations, Joel! That’s great… a well-deserved honor.
What does the King become when he gets a promotion? Are you now Franchise Demi-God?
I guess you’ll be all-business from here on out.
Don’t forget all us little people you clawed over on your rise to the top!
aww I’m glad we met too! This is gorgeous now Mr. King, or is that yer honor? 🙂 Btw I used to work for Dun and Bradstreet and hold them in the highest esteem, seriously! You rock; and JZ beat me today lol
Well, hey, Joel – that is GREAT news!! I might be checking out AllBusiness.com myself sometime soon. I live-blogged a session at the conference I was just at called Creating Sustainable Media. So if I ever want to do that, I’ll need all the advice I can get.
Thank YOU for all you do. And congratulations. 🙂
