In our fast-changing, always-connected world, nothing seems to be static for too long, anymore. We’re constanly being introduced to new tools, and new technologies. It’s rather overwhelming.
Some of us are early adopters. Some of us are not. I’m kind of in the middle.
Take the blog, for instance; I’ve been threatening to move it on over to WordPress for over a year; WP has an amazing amount of tools…plug-ins that can really provide some great benefits to small business owners. I’m one of those small business owners, and the main benefits I’m looking for with regards to my online presence include;
1. Better engagement with my readers.
2. Deeper linking opportunities
Most pet franchise opportunities aren't worth your time. This one is different — and most people never even hear about it. Low investment. Serious support. Real upside.

3. More traffic
4. A super-clean web design
Benefits like the ones I just mentioned are why I’m moving thefranchisekingblog.com and thefranchiseking.com over to WordPress. I’m getting some assistance with the technical parts of the move, and there will be an upgraded look to the website. (You’ll actually be directed to thefranchiseking.com, which will be The Place.) There will be a separate area for blog posts, and I’ll slowly add some other really cool features.
This changeover will be happening soon, and by this time next month, you and I will be totally Web 2.0+. If you’re one of the 1500+ people that get my blog updates via Feedburner, you’ll get an email next month with the new feed address, and it will be easy for you to grab it, right away.
I look forward to reaching even more people with my straightforward franchise messages, and I’m hoping that you’ll like the changes!
One more thing; I’ll be using the Disqus platform for comments, and I’m removing the Intense Debate platform from this blog in the meantime.
Thank you for continuing to allow me to enter your internet space.
