One can’t sell if they are no buyers. With the current economic situation, more and more franchise companies are starting to get aggressive as they try to find potential new franchise buyers. Discounts, and other incentives are starting to appear, and will become more creative and more plentiful, I’m sure.
Just how many "buyers" do you think there are right now???
I do not suggest getting into any franchise unless you are comfortable with the concept, the company, and your own financial situation. Now, why would a proponent of franchising {me}suggest that?
I always suggest that. Why would you want to invest in a franchise that you like because there is a discount or other incentive involved? Notice I said like. I feel that you better be in love with a franchise concept before you invest your own money into it. If you happen to love the franchise concept that you are considering, and this franchise company happens to be dangling some type of carrot over your head, then by all means invest in it! It is OK to get a "good deal".
But, it is not a "good deal" if you are not totally convinced that it is the right one for you at this time in your life. Don’t look at the deal. Look at the entire picture. It is only a good deal, if it is the right opportunity for you…
I suggest using these tools before you decide to invest in a franchise of your own:
