The marketing team at Tasti D-Lite is already into the social media marketing scene, but have just upped the ante. According to the folks at Mashable;
“Today Tasti D-Lite has announced the rollout of TastiRewards,
a rewards program that incentivizes customers to associate their
Twitter and Foursquare accounts with their Tasti D-Lite membership
cards.”
The franchise community is finally starting to embrace Twitter, (Are you following me?) but I’m guessing that 90% of franchise folks don’t know a thing about Foursquare.
Here’s what it is; (From the Foursquare website)
“Think of foursquare as an “urban mix tape.” We’ll help you make lists of your favorite things to do and let you share them with friends. Think beyond your standard review – we’re looking less for “The food here is top notch” and more for “Go to Dumont Burger and try the most amazing Mac and Cheese ever.”
