Potbelly Sandwich Works, the beloved neighborhood sandwich shop, has officially opened its doors at the Pentagon, marking a significant expansion of its presence on military installations.

This new restaurant location follows the successful launch of their first shop at Fort Liberty, one of the largest military installations in the world, with two more locations slated to open there by the end of the year.

From a Press Release:

We are incredibly proud to bring Potbelly to the brave men and women who serve our country,” said Bob Wright, President and CEO of Potbelly. “We want to provide them with a convenient and delicious way to enjoy our fresh, oven-toasted sandwiches, signature salads, hand-dipped shakes, and fresh-baked cookies.”

With that in mind, please know that Potbelly’s commitment to serving the military community extends beyond providing delicious food.

That’s because Potbelly is always seeking business opportunities to open more shops on military installations, recognizing the vital role these facilities play in supporting our nation’s heroes.

And as an added bonus, the company is partnering with the Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) and the Army & Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES) to ensure a smooth and successful expansion.

Use The Potbelly Sandwich Works App!

At both the Pentagon and Fort Liberty, military and civilian guests can enjoy the convenience of ordering in person, using the Potbelly mobile app, or through delivery services. Catering is also available exclusively for military diners.

Note: the Fort Liberty locations are owned and operated by franchisee Shakti Patel, who already operates multiple Potbelly shops along the East Coast.

In summary, Potbelly’s expansion into military installations demonstrates their dedication to serving the community and providing a taste of home to those who serve our country.

This commitment, coupled with their delicious food and convenient service, is sure to make Potbelly a popular destination for military personnel and their families.

We Visited A Franchise Expo
My wife and I are interested in starting a business so we visited a franchise expo. Afterwards, we were contacted by a couple of franchisors and we soon found ourselves deeply immersed in researching these particular franchises. We needed to take a step back and take stock of the bigger picture: 'Is a franchise right for us? Right now? What types of franchises would suit us?' We needed an independent and knowledgeable perspective. A paid consultation with Joel Libava clarified some of our thinking and gave us some useful ideas to pursue!" "
