This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of PG&E. The opinions and text are all mine.

If you’re a Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) business customer, you have two wonderful opportunities available to you right now. And both of them will save your business money.

In this post I’m going to show you specific cost-saving opportunities for your business.

First: A Case-Study

Beets Hospitality Group manages two exclusive event venues; the Palm Event Center in the Vineyard and Casa Real at Ruby Hill Winery. Both centers are located in the Livermore wine country in Northern California.

Large venues, like the ones Beets Hospitality Group runs, use large amounts of energy. This energy costs money, and it affects the bottom line. But solutions do exist. Cost-saving solutions.

For instance, Beets (with the help of their PG&E Customer Relationship Managers) was able to take advantage of a free energy assessment, along with rebates, and Energy Efficiency Financing.

As a matter of fact, they are now saving an estimated $12,960 a year.

You can learn more by watching the short video below.

Product Rebates Are Available

If your business is ready for upgrades or improvements, some of the energy-efficient products and equipment from PG&E have money-saving rebates.

With this in mind, the first thing to do (after getting your no-cost energy assessment from PG&E) is to go to this webpage, so you can see all the equipment currently being offered, and which rebates are best suited for your needs.

After all, rebates help bring down the upfront costs of equipment upgrades, and are part of the total energy cost reduction your business will enjoy.

To request your no-cost energy assessment, contact the PG&E Business Customer Service Center, Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. – 6 p.m. The number is: 1-800-468-4743

0% Financing Is Now Available

That’s right: PG&E business customers have an opportunity to get an interest-free loan ranging from $5,000 to $100,000, with up to five years for repayment.

These programs cover improvements to a wide range of equipment from lighting, to refrigeration, to food service, to HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning), to water heating and more.

This free eBook provides guidance and insights on the best way to use PG&E’s zero-interest financing for your projects.

5 HVAC Energy-Saving Tips for Your Business

Many business owners might not realize that heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) account for an alarming 39% of their building’s energy consumption, on average.

With this in mind, feel free to utilize the following HVAC tips courtesy of PG&E.

  • Clean condenser coils and replace air filters regularly.
  • Check ducts and pipe insulation for damage regularly.
  • Consider installing an air conditioning (AC) economizer to bring in outside air when the weather is cool
  • Set thermostats at 78º F for cooling in the summer and 68º F for heating in the winter.
  • Install electronic time clocks or programmable setback thermostats to maximize efficiency

Those tips, combined with the product rebates and zero-interest financing currently being offered by PG&E, will go a long way in reducing overall energy costs for your business.

You Speak True Words
You speak true words that I knew from your book and our conversations before I began my quest. Do your research, FDD doesn’t tell the whole story, talk to franchisees and the money isn’t everything. Having taken all this into consideration I found my franchise family and am more than happy with it. "
