Gmail Users: New Gmail Tabs Feature May Hurt Your Brain

gmail tabs and spam

If you like to receive useful email newsletters-and you use Gmail, please read this post.

It’s about the new Gmail tabs feature.

Let’s go.

Why The New Gmail Tabs Feature?

Google is hell-bent on preventing spam. They’ve also been slowly changing a lot of their product offerings-and eliminating some of their free ones.

Gmail is free; I don’t use it as my main email tool, but I do have it set-up.

Lots of people use Gmail…and they love it.  A lot of my Free VIP Newsletter subscribers use it.

Google has made Gmail more compartmentalized-which is fine.

But, your brain is being affected by it.

That’s right: your brain is being affected because it’s missing out on some very useful and valuable information that’s now going into the new “Promotional” tab in Gmail.

In other words, you may be missing those great email newsletters that you’ve been getting delivered to your inbox for months-maybe years.

A Solution

Michael Stelzner, the guy behind Social Media Examiner, has come up with a solution for you.

But before you view the video that he’s put together, check out what his view is on the new Gmail tabs feature:

Gmail is becoming like Facebook. If you use it, you use it by their rules. I’m also concerned by the possibility that other email providers may follow Google’s lead.”

If you don’t want useful information that you’ve been receiving via Gmail to disappear into the abyss because of the new tabs feature, watch this super-short video that Michael put together that shows you how to adjust your Gmail settings.
