The Kelly
Quite the character, Sean Kelly of IdeaFarm, in eastern Pennsylvania, is a guy who knows marketing. Sean is a fellow franchise blogger, and one I have no problem calling for advice on all things related to franchising, and marketing…..

Sean’s Bio:
"I am the founder and President of IdeaFarm,
the leading brand development and marketing services company focused on
franchised growth. I’ve helped launch well over 100 new franchise
expansion programs, and was part of the original team that launched the
Auntie Anne’s Soft Pretzels
franchise. I moved from Chicago to Lancaster County, PA when I joined
Auntie Anne’s as their first Director of Marketing, and have lived here
ever since."
As I said, Sean is a fellow franchise industry blogger. I first talked to Sean about 1.5 years ago, after I read his comments on another franchise blog. I had been watching Sean for a few months before that, and I decided to reach out to him. We exchanged some e-mails, as most bloggers do when they first start a a conversation, and we got to know each other.
I ended up calling Sean on the phone a couple of month’s after that, and we really bonded quite well. { And found out we have a LOT in common}
Before meeting Sean, I thought that I was the only franchise blogger that had the courage to speak his/her mind. Compared to Sean, I am like a White Dove, who brings peace to the franchise world.
Here are a couple of examples of Sean’s musings:
The iSold it Franchise debacle
Butterfly Life Franchise
The Big One-Cuppy’s Controversy
Sean is also a very successful franchise marketing idea man. {IdeaFarm}, and knows how to help franchise concepts gain much needed exposure. I could go on, but won’t. Suffice to say, if you would like to know more about Sean, he is really easy to find. He runs several franchise blogs on everything from Coffee, to Franchise Marketing.
Sean even finds time to review a book, once in awhile. Here!
So that is the short version of Sean’s experience in franchising. I suggest subscribing to his blogs, if you want daily franchise information, and a few giggles….
