A US Navy veteran who is working towards purchasing her second franchise is struggling to find a franchise loan. To open this second PostNet franchise, Amanda Crow is utilizing Sprigster, the nation’s only donation-based crowdfunding platform focused exclusively on franchising. On February 13, 2012, Sprigster announced the launch of its “Boost a Hero” program to help returning veterans raise the needed capital to realize their dream of franchise business ownership.
And, Amanda is not your everyday military veteran–she has amassed quite a collection of medals and ribbons…
From Sprigster.com
“During her service in the U.S. Navy, Amanda earned (4) Navy Achievement Medals, (2) Good Conduct Medals, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Overseas Service Ribbon, Expert Rifleman Medal, Expert Pistol Shot Medal, Expeditionary Warfare Specialist, and Naval Parachutist Gold Wings.”
Amanda is a retired, disabled veteran who’s also a widow. Amanda’s husband, Special Warfare Boat Operator Senior Chief Petty Officer Jeremy Crow, died February 22, 2010 while deployed at war.
