Top 50 franchise lists.

Top 100 franchise lists.

Top 500 franchise lists.

Even lists of the top 10 franchises.

My point: There are certainly lots of lists these days.

It can be hard to figure out what’s what with some of them.

Are Franchise Lists Important?

No, because not all of them will be a fit for you-and what your vision of a franchise of your own may be.

Does that make sense?

There’s one more thing franchise lists are good for:

Discussions.

Even arguments…although they tend to happen between people in the franchise and small business community.

Like, “Why is ______ in the top 10 again this year?”

Or

Why wasn’t _____________ in the top 5 this year.”

Franchise Lists From Other Countries

I like seeing what types of franchises are doing well-or that are at least placing in the top 10 or so of franchises in other countries. It’s rather entertaining, especially with some of the names of the franchise concepts from other areas of the world.

The latest list is from a country with lots of bears and lots of great fishing in their very clear lakes.

And, it’s a good list.

The fantastic thing about Joel is his neutrality. Because he is not getting an incentive fee, he will always give you the advice that you need (even if not what you necessarily want) and that's pretty unique these days. Thank you Joel!"
