Every time it pours, I want you to think about Gerald Krause, a former Ford employee who just opened a new franchise.
Franchise Seminar
Gerald retired from Ford last year, and attended a seminar on franchising that I gave at a local outplacement office. He was joined by five other various middle mangagement and executive folks who were recently downsized or took an early retirement.
Their former employers provided corporate outplacement services including resume preparation, interviewing skill building, and other career related solutions. In addition, information on a few non-traditional career ideas, like franchise ownership-was available.
During the seminar, Gerald shared that he had always wanted to try his hand at business ownership, and that the timing seemed right now.
A week or so later, I met with Gerald and his wife to discuss franchise opportunities. Fast forward to now.
Ford Employee Opens A New Franchise!
A Property Damage Mitigation franchise.
When it rains in Lorain County, Ohio, where Gerald just set up his new Property Damage Mitigation franchise, and it keeps raining…and flooding homes and businesses, Gerald will come to your rescue. His local franchise can help with water damage, mold remediation, and also do the proper restoration type services needed to get your household or business back up and running, quickly.
From Ford employee to franchise ownership.
Not bad.
And George is busy.
