Unless you're already the owner of a shiny new Amazon Kindle or Apple iPad, you may not know just how easy it is to grab downloads of business and franchise-related eBooks.
My brother-in-law was nice enough to let me play with his iPad recently, and I took full advantage of our time together. Wow.

The leather iPad case that was included with his iPad was a classy touch, and I felt like a King, as I kicked back in Michael's (my brother-in-law) easy chair, and powered Apple's amazing piece of technology up. Of course, the first thing I looked up online was…
Let me tell you right now that I'm not an Apple guy; I'm a PC. Windows 7 has made a huge difference in efficiency for me, especially after a year of headaches with Vista. Heck, there was even a franchise business launched that specialized in fixing Windows Vista problems. Look at this cool franchise!
I see why the iPhone is so darn popular; touch screens are really smooth! I was scrolling through blog posts and the like with ease. I was immediately hooked.
Of course, not only was I able to go online and cruise through all the blogs and websites on my iGoogle page, but I was able to grab downloads of business and franchise related eBooks, and read them with ease.
I'm totally impressed with the iPad, and really want to get one, soon.
The other hot item is the Kindle. The execs at Amazon recently lowered the cost of entry for these fairly compact e-readers, so they're really selling a ton of them now.
I'm proud to say that only a couple of months after the Kindle was released, Amazon added The Franchise King Blog to it's short list of business blogs available for download. I've found that a lot of folks read The Franchise King Blog while they're traveling, and the number is growing every quarter.
The Kindle was really built for the eBook market; more and more eBooks are being published, and the Kindle seems to be the reader of choice for ebook reading, indoors and out.
If you get a Kindle this year, either as a gift, or just because you can, don't forget to grab lots of Free eBooks for it. And get outside if you can. I hear that they're easy to read outdoors, too.
