PostNet Awarded 32 Franchises in 2025. Here’s What the Numbers Actually Show.

PostNet had a strong year in 2025. The printing and shipping franchise brand awarded 32 franchises across its network — and opened 14 new locations.

Those are real numbers worth looking at.

Breaking Down the 32 Franchises Awarded by PostNet in 2025

According to a recent Press Release, here’s exactly what PostNet reported:

  • 14 new locations opened
  • 18 ownership transfers completed
  • 7 franchises awarded to existing owners expanding their footprint
  • 25 franchises awarded to first-time PostNet owners

That last number is notable. Twenty-five new franchise owners joined the system in a single year. That’s a great vote of confidence in the brand.

What PostNet Actually Does

PostNet has been around since 1993. The brand operates nearly 700 locations across North America, Central America, South America, and Africa.

Services franchisees offer include commercial and digital printing, shipping and logistics, marketing services, and ecommerce fulfillment. It’s a B2B-leaning model. The customer base skews heavily toward small and mid-sized businesses. You know what that means?

It means franchisees need to get out of their stores and develop new business. From other small businesses in their territory.

In addition, in 2017, PostNet joined the MBE* Worldwide family — now operating under the brand name Fortidia. That parent company runs more than 3,200 locations across 57 countries.

What Prospective PostNet Franchisees Should Think About

The ownership transfer numbers deserve attention. Eighteen transfers in one year feels like a lot. Transfers happen for many reasons — retirement, health, burnout, relocation.

That said, before you buy a PostNet franchise, you’d want to know why those specific locations changed hands.

On the other hand, the 7 existing owners who expanded their footprint is a more encouraging signal. Franchisees who already know the system and invest in more units are putting their own money where their mouth is. In my experience, that matters a lot.

Finally, PostNet offers training and ongoing operational support. The model is service-based, which means lower inventory risk compared to product-heavy franchises.

The Bottom Line on Postnet Awarding 32 Franchises

PostNet’s 2025 numbers are solid. New owner growth plus multi-unit expansion from existing owners is a healthy combination.

That said, PostNet’s 32 awarded franchises doesn’t tell you everything you need to know.

So, before you write any checks, read the FDD. Learn all about the PostNet leadership team. Study Item 19. Talk to current and former franchisees — not just the ones the company refers you to.

Impressive growth numbers from a press release are a starting point. They’re not enough of a reason to buy.
