Seriously. Do you really have what it takes to own and run your own
business? A franchise business?
- Can you deal with a 200-page
- Will you be able to wait awhile before you start to make a profit?
- Are you ok with your creativity being stifled a little?
- Will you get resentful about paying a % of your sales to the franchisor?
I’m not saying that any of the things I laid out above are negative things. They are just some things that you should think about before you immerse yourself into the sometimes frustrating franchise exploration process. If you select the right franchise to own, and research it correctly, owning a franchise can be a great thing.
I was recently interviewed on the AllBusiness.com Radio Show by Rieva Lesonsky….If her name is familiar, it’s because she was the senior editor for Entrepreneur Magazine. For a long time. She’s an entrepreneur herself, these days, and can be found not only on the Allbusiness.com site, but over at her own website/blog, SmallBizDaily.
In this short interview, we discussed which types of people typically make great franchise owners. Rieva was also gracious enough to let me discuss something really special that I’ve created for prospective franchise owners. Enjoy the radio interview by clicking the little box below!
Curious about my newest offering? Prospective franchise owners can use it right now!
