In a move that’s set to shake up the quick service restaurant industry, Subway® has announced the appointment of Jonathan Fitzpatrick as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

With a proven track record of driving sales and operational performance, Fitzpatrick is poised to take the reins of one of the world’s largest restaurant brands on July 28, 2025.

Subway CEO Fitzpatrick brings over two decades of franchising and quick service restaurant experience to the table, having led Driven Brands to 17 consecutive quarters of same-store sales growth as President and CEO. His impressive resume also includes senior leadership positions at Burger King, where he oversaw a major menu overhaul and reimagined the guest experience.
