I am a Cleveland, Ohio based franchise consultant, marketer, and franchise industry blogger.

I'm a brutally honest, but not always politically correct, entrepreneur-who’s hyper-focused on the world of franchising.

I consult with prospective franchise owners all over the US, matching them up to opportunities that may be a fit, in the world of franchise ownership. I also help young franchise companies with their online marketing strategies.

I've been a radio and TV announcer, Las Vegas Maitre’D, food and beverage manager, have worked in automobile franchising in a management capacity, and have also been a sales trainer.

I give frequent presentations on the topic of franchising, and am the “Franchise Expert In Residence,” and columnist for the award winning Small Business Trends website. I write over at the OPEN FORUM by American Express blog, joining other small business experts like Guy Kawasaki, John Battelle, and Anita Campbell.

I'm an expert source for The Wall Street Journal, Fox Business News.com, Entrepreneur Magazine, MSNBC.com, Bottom Line Personal, Crain’s, The Plain Dealer, and numerous other national and local publications and websites. I'm interviewed regularly on Jim Blasingame’s Small Business Advocate radio program, as well as on Barbara Weltman’s Build Your Business radio show.

Most recently, I was approached by Business.Gov to contribute articles about the business model of franchising. This website is the official business link to the US Government, and I'm excited to be a part of it!
