This week's advice is for everyone in the franchise industry;
It's time for all of us to become more transparent in our business dealings. The folks that may be thinking of investing in a franchise of their own, and pursuing "The American Dream," deserve this from us. If you are a franchisor, share the fact that you may have had a lousy year, with prospective franchisees; If you a franchise consultant/broker don't rely on old franchise industry data concerning franchise success rates; If you're a franchise PR or marketing firm, make sure potential new client's know of any possible conflicts of interest, before you take them on. Let's all become more transparent! Fransparent, actually.
