This week, my franchise business advice is directed towards prospective franchise owners;
I know that the job market continues to be pretty ugly. However, there are jobs to be had. Before one of my recent monthly presentations on franchise ownership options at a local area outplacement firm, I stopped at the "landings" board. This wooden plaque contains recent job landings along with the names of this outplacement's candidates. There were a quite of few, and some were even senior-level positions. If a "job "is in your future, don't give up.
If franchise ownership is on your radar screen, that's fantastic. When you Learn, Select, and Research some franchise choices, please don't be tempted by some rather aggressive franchise companies who are putting their franchise offerings "on sale." A discounted franchisee should not be the sole reason for getting into a particular franchise.
