Are the franchisees happy? Kind of important to know, right?
Part of what you’ll be doing-as part of your research into the franchise opportunities you’re interested in, must include reaching out to existing franchisees. You need to pick up your phone and call them. And, when you get them on the phone, you need to ask questions.
The best way to ask questions of the franchisees is to have them prepared ahead of time. I suggest making a list of questions you feel you need to have answered.
Franchise Question: Would You Do It Again?
One of the best questions to ask every single franchisee you talk to can be very, very revealing. Don’t skip it-but don’t ask it too early in the call. Warm things up a bit, first.
